Abstract
•Hierarchical olive-shaped ZnZSM-11 was one-step synthesized by using ZnO as zinc source.•This material exhibited superior mesoporous properties and enhanced Lewis acid amount.•This sample presented good catalytic activity for methanol conversion.
Zn containing ZSM-11 is of great importance for producing aromatics. Herein we report a facile route for synthesizing hierarchical Zn-ZSM-11 with olive-shaped intergrowth morphology by using ZnO as zinc source. This material exhibits excellent mesoporous properties and remarkably enhanced Lewis acid amount. More importantly, this sample shows good catalytic activity for methanol conversion.
