Abstract
⺠In this paper, we propose a surfactant-assisted synthesis method to control the morphology of single-crystalline Pb (Zr0.53Ti0.47) O3 (PZT), either in nanohexagon or in nanorod shapes. ⺠Experiments were designed to understand the growth mechanism of the nanostructure formation. ⺠To our best knowledge, no method for preparation of single crystalline PZT nanohexagons/nanorods has been reported in the literature.
