Abstract
⺠A simple solution method is employed for the direct synthesis of ZnO-flowers. ⺠It is utilized as photocatalyst for the degradation of crystal violet (Cv) dye. ⺠A very fast degradation of Cv-dye with a degradation rate of â¼96% within 80 min has been observed. ⺠Mass spectroscopy of Cv-dye confirms the complete mineralization after 80 min under light illumination.
