Abstract
⺠Utilization of Napier grass fiber an important agricultural residue. ⺠Napier grass fibers could be suitable for making green composites. ⺠Physical properties and chemical composition of Napier grass fibers were studied. ⺠Alkali treated fibers have higher cellulose content than the untreated fiber. ⺠Napier fibers characterized by spectroscopy (FTIR, NMR) and morphology by SEM.
