Abstract
⺠The primary endrite arm spacing (PDAS) for directionally solidified superalloy DZ417G under the weak static magnetic field is significantly decreased. ⺠The PDAS was decreased by 23% and 21%for the ingots with 4 mm and 10 mm in diameter with enhancing the intensity of applied magnetic field from 0 to 0.05 T, respectively. ⺠the PDAS is slightly increased, When the intensity of magnetic field is larger than 0.05 T.
