Abstract

Fracture behavior of Co–Cr–Mo–N alloys during tensile deformation was examined by electron backscattering diffraction. Cracks occurred at the triple junction, which consists of two grain boundaries and one annealing twin boundary. The cracks were propagated along the annealing twin boundaries and the interface between the γ-fcc phase and the ε-hcp martensite phase.
