Abstract
This paper presents a regeneration-free immunosensor based on a novel magnetic Fe3O4@gold composite nanomaterial, which is able to form a protein/composite nanomaterial due to the stability and biocompatibility of the gold nanomaterial. This enabled simple, effective and controllable detection by immunosensors. In this work, the strategy has been applied to α-1-fetoprotein as a model system; however, it could be extended toward other clinically or environmentally interesting biological compounds.
