Abstract
The one-dimensional Bovine serum albumin (BSA)-conjugated nickel nano self-assembly with hierarchical structure were prepared by the wet-method reducing technique assisted with anodic aluminum oxide templates (AAOTs) using BSA as the matrix under the gentle conditions. The thermogravimetry-differential scanning calorimetry (TG/DSC) revealed about 7.09% of BSA in the nano self-assemblies. And the conjugation between BSA and nickel resulted in the shift of its maximum emission wavelength from 341 nm to 405 nm. The real-time observation by transmission electron microscope (TEM) displayed that the nano self-assemblies were formed from the smaller building blocks step by step.
