Abstract
We have developed a solution process to the synthesis of self-supported Bi2S3 patterns with one-dimensional (1D) Bi2S3 nanostructures. It was found that the surfactant plays a key role in determining the shape of the products. The as-prepared products were characterized by means of powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electronic microscopy (FE-SEM). In comparison with the original traditional apparatus, the present route is safe, simple, reproducible, and environmentally benign, and yields nanocrystals with well-controlled size and shape.
