Abstract
The conservation of historic stones is receiving growing attention from many fields because of increasing bad weathering. In this work, a protective nanofilm of CaC2O4 has been prepared on the marble stone by using a solution of (NH4)2C2O4, propyl alcohol and acetone as the precursor. The obtained material was characterized by XRD, FTIR, PLM and SEM. The protective performances were also evaluated by its ability to resist soil and acid. The analysis reveals that the protective effects are satisfying.
