Abstract
One-dimensional conductive chains of indium tin oxide (ITO) nanoparticles with high specific surface areas of about 65 m2 g− 1 were synthesized from indium, tin acetylacetone complexes using isopropanol as solvent by a novel solvothermal method and post heat-treatment. When isopropanol was replaced with water as solvent, the non-conductive individual In2SnO5 nanoparticles were obtained.
