Abstract
In this paper, the cuniform-like MnO2 particles were first successfully synthesized with dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid (DBSA) as surfactant in aqueous solution. The samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and infrared spectroscopy (IR). The possible mechanisms of the shape evolution for the formation of MnO2 samples were discussed.
