Abstract
Pyroelectric and dielectric behavior of cation(s) modified lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramic has been studied for their use in infrared detectors. Various materials' figures-of-merit for their use in infrared detector are calculated. The results are compared with several existing candidate materials including PZT type ceramics.
