Preparation of amorphous ter-polysilane bearing vinyl side groups and its fluorescent property

Amorphous ter-polysilanes bearing vinyl side groups were prepared from diphenyldichlorosilane (Ph2SiCl2), dimethyldichlorosilane (Me2SiCl2) and methylvinyldichlorosilane (MeViSiCl2). Furthermore, their fluorescent and thermal properties have also been investigated. The experimental results reveal that the ter-polysilane posses good thermal stability and strong fluorescent emitting at 420 nm.
