Abstract
A simple method of measuring piezoelectric coefficient and electro-optic coefficient of crystal based on the attenuated total reflection technique is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. By analyzing the shift of the attenuated total reflection peaks recorded by the angular-scanning method using a goniometer mechanism, piezoelectric coefficient and electro-optic coefficient of the crystal can be determined at the same time.
