Abstract
⺠Most of the dental implant failure occurs in the connection part of screw with loosening or fracture. ⺠For this problem, the abutment screw was coated with TiN and WC film using EB-PVD and sputtering. ⺠Fatigue test was performed for estimating the fatigue behavior of TiN and WC coated abutment screw according to the ISO 14801. ⺠The fatigue characteristics of implant system can be improved by TiN and WC film coating on the abutment screw surface.
