Abstract
⺠Surface-capped nano-SiO2/DLC were synthesized via electrochemical deposition. ⺠Composition and microstructure of films at different deposition time were studied. ⺠Silica incorporation enhances the graphitization and wear resistance. ⺠Composite films show a transformation from hydrophilic to hydrophobic.
