Abstract
												⺠Rough surfaces on PVDF substrates were prepared by a simple grinding method. ⺠The surfaces were modified by fluorinated silane without any activation process. ⺠The superhydrophobicity is stable in aqueous solutions with a wide pH range. ⺠The superhydrophobic surfaces show excellent stability in various environments.
