Abstract
⺠SiCp/Al 5056 composite coatings were prepared by cold spray. ⺠Gas temperature has no effect on the content of SiC in the coatings. ⺠Deposition efficiency first increases and then decreases as SiC content increases. ⺠Spraying pure SiC presents SiC behaviors during formation of composite coatings. ⺠SiC deposition behaviors are cracking, embedment and rebounding.
