Abstract
⺠Aluminum coatings have been realized on steel substrates. ⺠Heat treatments of the Al coatings were performed in air. ⺠EDS analysis is performed on the interface. ⺠At the interface two compounds are formed: FeAl and Fe2Al5. ⺠Aluminum coatings have a good resistance to corrosion in simulated sea water between 200 and 400 °C.
