Abstract
⺠Interfacial reaction between glass coating and superalloy substrate is considered. ⺠Zinc gas products resulted in bubbling of glass coating. ⺠Loose TiO2 interlayer leads to spalling off of glass coating. ⺠Pre-crystallization of glass coating suppressed interfacial reaction.
