Abstract
⺠Thin films of polymerized acetylene were prepared by RF plasma. ⺠We proposed a chemical structure for the thin film of acetylene polymerized. ⺠Chemical structure of the film suggests that it could interact with aromatic solvents. ⺠Plasma polymer acetylene showed high capacity to absorb and retain benzene.
