Abstract
⺠Deposition mechanisms in high velocity suspension spraying (HVSFS) are studied. ⺠Splats of tricalcium phosphate and bioactive glass are collected onto glass plates. ⺠Splats come from molten drops within a definite size range (sprayability window). ⺠Enhanced deposition efficiency when particle size matches with sprayability window ⺠Phase composition of splats depends on constituent material and thermal history.
