Abstract
⺠Two novel phosphoramidate monomers were prepared via a simple, two-step reaction. ⺠The monomers were applied to cotton by an atmospheric pressure plasma treatment. ⺠Grafting yield was maximized through the use of JMP® software. ⺠SEM, TGA, vertical burn tests and ICP-OES were used to examine the treated fabrics. ⺠TGA and vertical burn tests demonstrated a significant increase in char yield.
