Abstract
⺠Pure W powders were successfully coated on graphite substrate using VPS coating. ⺠Two different intermediate layers were deposited to the graphite substrate. ⺠Ti intermediate layer shows good adhesion to the graphite after heat exposure experiment. ⺠W-coated graphite parts will extend prolonged service life in a crystal growing furnace.
