Abstract
► Mo-Si-B based coatings protected SiC-C composites from oxidation in air at 1073 K. ► Mo-Si-B based coatings protected SiC-C composites from oxidation in air at 1773 K. ► Fiber burn-out and extreme oxidation were observed in unprotected SiC-C composites. ► Upon oxidation, minimal weight loss was observed on samples coated with Mo-Si-B.
