Abstract
⺠Mo-Si-B based coatings protected SiC-C composites from oxidation in air at 1073 K. ⺠Mo-Si-B based coatings protected SiC-C composites from oxidation in air at 1773 K. ⺠Fiber burn-out and extreme oxidation were observed in unprotected SiC-C composites. ⺠Upon oxidation, minimal weight loss was observed on samples coated with Mo-Si-B.
