Abstract
► MWCNT-Cu nanocomposite was cold-sprayed onto an Al substrate under low pressure. ► The MWCNT-Cu coating showed quite a small increase of MWCNT defects after the spray. ► CNTs were closely attached to the Cu matrix with strong compression. ► No intermediate compounds were found. ► The MWCNT-Cu coating had higher thermal diffusivity than a pure Cu coating.
