⺠Degradation process of carbides depends on the energy applied during hardfacing. ⺠Carbide/matrix interphase influences primary carbide content and matrix composition. ⺠Abrasive wear resistance depends on the level of carbide degradation. âºFor abrasive material removal, a novel energy parameter is defined.
