Abstract
⺠The HVOF sprayed amorphous metallic coatings were sealed by three sealants. ⺠The uniform corrosion resistance enhanced greatly by three sealed treatments. ⺠Aluminium phosphate sealant penetrated into the coatings and enhanced the hardness. ⺠Sodium silicate and cerium salts sealant provided temporary corrosion protection. ⺠The stability of passive film affected the long-term corrosion behaviour.
