Abstract
⺠With increasing the ion doses, the intensity of D peak was increased up to 7Ã1015 ions/cm2 ⺠The pre-tilt angle of LC cell by ion beam method was smaller, such as 0.04-0.578° ⺠The response time of TN cell using ion beam at 3-5Ã1015 ions/cm2 was around 10 ms. ⺠The optimum ion beam condition for liquid crystal alignment was 3 keV, 3-5Ã1015 ions/cm2.
