Abstract
⺠LDPE modified with maleic acid by γ-irradiation technique to improve its adhesion strength on mild steel substrate. ⺠Modified LDPE characterized by different techniques to confirm the grafting of maleic acid on back bone of LDPE. ⺠LDPE and LDPE-g-MAc characterized for thermal properties and MFI to study its suitability for flame spray application. ⺠Incorporation of nanoclay in modified LDPE shows improvement in resistance to corrosion.
