Abstract
⺠Electrochemical potential has a significant effect on tribocorrosion behavior. ⺠Carburizing is very effective in improving tribocorrosion behavior at anodic potentials. ⺠Carburizing is not effective at cathodic potentials. ⺠Chemical wear dominates material loss from the carburized specimen.
