Abstract
⺠LaTi2Al9O19 (LTA)/YSZ double ceramic layer TBC was prepared by plasma spraying. ⺠LTA/YSZ TBC shows promising thermal cycling life during gas burner testing. ⺠Microstructure of the LTA/YSZ TBC during thermal cycling process was characterized. ⺠Thermal stability and sintering resistance of LTA coating were studied. ⺠Failure mechanism of the LTA/YSZ TBC was investigated.
