Abstract
In this paper, spectral characteristics of optical radiation from a glow discharge with electrolytic cathode and temperature of the gas discharge were studied. Two formation mechanisms for excited species in such discharge are suggested. One of them is associated with electron collisions and another with direct production of excited particles during the non-equilibrium transfer of the solution components to the plasma due to ion bombardment.
