Abstract
A chemical method has been used to prepare highly crystalline porous CdIn2S4 photocatalyst films at low temperature on a glass substrate. The conversion of cadmium and indium salts with thiourea on CdIn2S4 powder particles into CdIn2S4 has been achieved via hydrothermal reaction, which acts as a “glue” to connect the original CdIn2S4 particles chemically thus forming a mechanically stable photocatalyst film.
