Abstract
The aim of this paper is to summarize representative nanostructured material properties and to focus on interfaces and surfaces, using computer simulations and renormalizing methods. Universal characteristics for every mesoscopic phase of nanostructured materials were derived, using these approaches. The universal homogeneous-functions and characteristic exponents of representative systems are summarized. By utilizing these results, which are necessary for smart materials/smart fabrications, the nanostructured materials for various uses may be plausible to be fabricated, controlled or manipulated.
