Abstract
We report here the pressure and temperature dependence on the electronic and magnetic properties of nanocrystalline La0.8Sr0.2Mn1âxFexO3 systems. Absence of metal-insulator transition is quite obvious in zero-field electrical resistivity measurements in these systems and can be related to the increased resistivity due to grain boundaries. Phase transitions are observed at 0.52 GPa and at 3.7 GPa, respectively, for Fe = 0.2 system by high-pressure Mössbauer and electrical resistivity measurements. BH hysteresis measurements on this particular sample shows a constriction at H = 0.
