Abstract
Mesoporous 3D-hexagonal organosilicate films were synthesized by an original direct synthesis and by post-synthesis grafting. The direct synthesis process involves the introduction of an organosilane into the sol at a precise stage of condensation, which provides well-ordered films containing high amounts of methyl groups. Both kinds of films were compared in terms of porosity, accessibility, refractive index and chemical stability.
