Abstract
⺠Closed expressions are derived for focusing powers of microwave TM010 cavities. ⺠Expressions are validated by particle tracking simulations using realistic fields. ⺠Analytical theory and simulations agree for small field amplitudes. ⺠Phase and temperature stability requirements for synchronization are discussed.
