Abstract
⺠A modified phase-shifting electron holography was proposed. ⺠The time variation of mean intensity and contrast of holograms were corrected. ⺠These corrections lead to a great improvement of the resultant phase accuracy. ⺠A phase accuracy of about 1/4000 rad was achieved from experimental results.
