Abstract
⺠We derive a simple model of HRTEM exit wave reconstruction from focal series. ⺠Quantitative reconstruction requires padding and a large number of iterations. ⺠We analyze the effect of noise, a detector MTF, and incorrect focal plane spacing. ⺠We use multislice HRTEM simulations to validate our model.
