Abstract
⺠Issues with accurate EBSD calibration are discussed. ⺠Optical distortion data for 17 EBSD detectors are tabulated. ⺠A new shadow-casting system is demonstrated; it gives a pattern centre precision of â¼10 μm and allows changes to be observed on the live EBSP.
