Abstract
The techniques of LA-ICP-MS and PIXE/PIGE were applied for detailed differentiation of glasses produced in the Venetian manner. According to the alkali component, the glasses are distributed in several groups; two of them coincide with genuine Venetian white glass. Differentiation according to the rare-earth elements is insignificant, but suggests that the largest group is not homogeneous, which may imply different production centers.
