Abstract
A systematic optimization of some radiation processing parameters of the Tunisian gamma irradiation facility was carried out using the GEANT4 code of CERN. In the same course of this study, detailed dose mapping using different density product was carried out, and thus the minimum and maximum dose locations within the product boxes were determined. Using these data, the plant efficiency and dose uniformity ratio have been calculated. A complementary study to a previous work on critical density determination, aiming to improve dose uniformity within product, to other heights of carrier, was also established.
