Abstract
The conceptual approach and the practical realization of the remote-handling systems installed at the activated areas of the GSI fragment separator FRS are outlined. Key components are two industrial robots, installed at the target area and at the first focal plane. These can perform all standard operations to mount or to exchange the installed experiment diagnostic and vacuum equipment.
