Abstract
The spin polarization of electrons emitted during the impact of N6+ ions on a magnetized Fe surface is investigated. We study potential emission of electrons as well as secondary electron production and transport in the target with the help of Monte Carlo (MC) simulations. Spin dependence of electron transfer processes and of transport in the solid are included. Our results show good agreement with experimental data.
