Abstract
⺠The scale on the FeAlCrZrB alloy after oxidation consisted of γ, θ and α aluminium oxide forms. ⺠The oxide layers formed in the temperature range 700-1000 °C appear to be well bonded with the FeAl substrate. ⺠The formation of protective oxide layers can alleviated the environmental embrittlement of an B2 FeAl alloys.
