Abstract
⺠A transparent vacuum window for high-intensity pulsed beams has been designed. ⺠The window must withstand the âµP = 103 mbar differential pressure. ⺠The window has to be leak tight. ⺠The window must withstand the thermal stresses induced by the HiRadMat beam. ⺠The window must withstand the thermal shock-waves induced by the HiRadMat beam.
