Abstract
⺠Nitrogenated carbon nanotips were synthesized by plasma-enhanced hot filament CVD. ⺠The electron field emission from NCNTPs with different structures was measured. ⺠The smooth NCNTPs exhibit better EFE characteristic. ⺠The work function of carbon nanotips is reduced after incorporation of nitrogen.
