Abstract
⺠Structure formation mechanisms are studied for quasi-equilibrium condensation of Ti. ⺠Quasi-equilibrium conditions determine formation of low-dimensional porous layers. ⺠Porosity results from crystal jointing without conventional coalescence. ⺠Slight increase in supersaturation changes rounded crystals for faceted.
